School-Based Counseling
Youth Services counselors are on-site at five different school districts throughout Santa Cruz County. Counselors provide quality mental health services and support to students struggling with a variety of issues. Teachers, administrators, parents and probation officers refer students for counseling services. These services are supported by collaborations with the school districts, individual schools and County Mental Health.

Who Qualifies? Students attending any of the schools listed above that have Medi-Cal or Healthy Families insurance qualify for counseling services.
