When Should I Contact Human Resources?

I have an employee whose duties are not described in the personnel manual job scripts

My employee does not have enough sick and/or vacation hours accrued to cover an absence

I have an employee who is also volunteering time for my component and/or the agency

I need to dismiss an employee

I have an employee who is requesting a leave or sabbatical

I have an employee who wants to resign for health reasons

I am unsure whether to hire a person as an employee or use their services as an independent contractor

I have an employee who wants to work 4 10-hour days or another alternate schedule

I want to change an employee's status from non-exempt to exempt
