The Personnel Committee (PC) is comprised of one representative from each of the four service components as well as Administrative Services. The PC's mission is: To advocate for and express the wishes of staff regarding policy. To mediate and vote for staff's interests through the participatory decision-making process.
Each PC Representative serves a two year term and has one vote. In addition, a PC Proxy is elected by each component to support the PC Representative and to attend meetings in the absence of the Rep. View the Personnel Committee Representative Job Description here.
The Personnel Committee votes on policy issues which impact SCCCC staff. Votes cast by PC Reps are informed by input gathered from component staff regarding proposals up for consideration through PDM process as well as the voting process to be used. The PC also assigns Representatives to serve as liasons between PC, Leadership Council, and Board of Trusees. These linkages support an ongoing system of communication for Agency decision-makers.
PC meetings are held on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 9:30 a.m. Minutes are taken and votes recorded.
