Going Green
The Agency's Green Committee will be forming in March 2009. The committee will follow CFDP's lead and have each facility complete the Green Business certification through Monterey Bay Area Green Business Program. The committee will also brainstorm on green improvements that each component and site can implement in a low- to no- cost approach.
For instance at the most recent Admin All-Staff meeting, a suggestion was made to have a recycling training to maximize our recycling effort and reduce our garbage. As these ideas are generated they will be posted here so everyone can benefit.
Paperless Meetings
All Board, Committee, Personnel Committee (PC) and Leadership Council (LC) meetings will be paperless. While not being paperfree, we will be eliminating many copies by posting the complete packet on the Staff Resouces section of our website for staff to review rather than sending copies to every site. This will save approximately 50 packets for each Board, Committee, PC and LC meeting.
