Equinox is the story of a day in the life of a homeless shelter, involving equally the lives of homeless clients and the people who work with them. Equinox is both a love story and a story of the human condition.
Proceeds benefit the River Street Shelter, a program of the Santa Cruz Community Counseling Center. River Street is a 32-bed emergency shelter for homeless adult men and women. Shelter staff members work with residents to achieve self-sufficiency goals and connect with community resources for obtaining benefits, physical and mental health services, employment, and long-term housing.
